Last Game:
We liked Dempster to win by a couple of runs taking the -1 run line, but in the end, despite the 6-2 lead, the pen took our money away with Ogando, Adams, and Nathan allowing 4 runs in the last 3 innings.

Today’s Game is a 7:05 PM CST Start
Texas Rangers 81-55 (W1) –130 @ Kansas City 61-75 (L1) +120 @ – Over/Under 9 Runs
Tex P Scott Feldman (6-11, 5.01 ERA) went from potentially being the Ranger Ace not so long ago, to allowing 13 runs in his past 3 starts, with his last 5 starts ALL being losses.. Allbeit with little run support. He’s still only allowed 2 Home runs in his last 7 starts, but that’s
almost worse in that he’s allowing A LOT of bad key hits against him at bad times. He’s 3-2 in 6 starts vs the Royals.
KC Luke Hochevar (7-13, 5.34 ERA) has had a few bad starts mixed with some good ones. Although he got pounded for 2 runs in not even 2 innings of work his last start. Take away his 1 hit shutout @ Tampa 3 games ago, he’s allowed 22 runs in his last 4 starts to go along with 8 Homeruns. He’s 2-0 lifetime vs the Rangers.
The Computer says the Rangers have a reasonable edge tonight.
RANGERS 4.7 KANSAS CITY 4.0
- Rangers are only 31-33 -20.96 units (25.8% roi fade) this season off of a win playing at
the same site as a favorite.That’s 26-10 (1.78, 72.2%) +13.33 units as road favorites.
- Royals are 25-27 +13.44 units as +130 and up dogs this season.
Slight edge on the Rangers but Feldman has not made us confident in backing him the past month despite once being an underrated cash machine. The Under looks a little more appealing in that both of these pitchers need to get back on track, and despite the public approach for being smart wagerers, it seems that they may have the right play today despite the fact that both pitchers look like gas cans at the moment.
The Play
0.5 Units Tex/KC Under 9 Runs -105 ($5.25 to return $10.25)
