A nice win for the Rangers and The Computer prediction, after going up 6-2, blowing it, then exploding in the late innings and putting up 15 runs. Captain obvious says that there’s a good chance when you score double digits every night, you might win a few.

Tex P Matt Harrison (12-6, 3.19 ERA) has sucked… hard… losing 3 of his last 4 decisions, and 9 runs in his last 2 starts. Is this start going to build the momentum the Rangers have been building the past couple of games.

KC P Jeremy Guthrie (3-11, 6.68 ERA) has generally been lit up lately, allowing 19 runs in his last 17 innings with 6 Homeruns.  He is, however, 3-2 lifetime vs the Rangers.

Hard to bet against the Rangers tonight, but this is exactly the type of situation that calls for value.  No one in the world thinks Guthrie will do anything vs the Rangers who have put up 8,000 runs in their last 2 games.  But the home dog is getting extreme value against P Harrison who is going through a real sucky few starts.

The thing is if you DO like the Rangers in this spot, betting them to win by at least a run may get you the best value, and lose the least if it doesn’t happen.
