Nelson Cruz, ALCS hero of the the Texas Rangers reached a deal with the Texas Rangers, and before their scheduled arbitration hearing date.
The reigning ALCS MVP signed a deal with the Texas Rangers worth $16 million sources told ESPNDallas.com. Cruz and the Rangers had a $2 million gap with the Rangers offering $5.5 million and Cruz asking for $7.5 million.
That would leave one player left with an arbitration hearing pending, Mike Napoli. He and the Rangers have the largest gap between offers. The Rangers have offered the catcher $8.3 million and he has asked for $11.5 million.
